I've been reflecting a lot about this time last year.
It was a really difficult time for everyone. Weston was teetering on the edge of going into full liver failure and was preparing to be listed on the transplant waiting list.
I'm not going to lie. I was very depressed last year. I remember feeling guilty that I wasn't putting on a better face for Emily for the holiday season. I tried my best, but I'm sure it was obvious that my heart wasn't in it.
I am happy to report that I am whole heartedly looking forward to this holiday season and am enjoying my babies as the season changes. Nothing makes me happier than babies in footie pj's! Except little baby buns, maybe. :-)

You better believe we are thankful for the joy that Weston gives us. I pray everyday for him and his donor. Last year was a very tough year for all of us. I am looking forward to much better years ahead.
I miss them both so much. They both give such love and happiness a Nana couldn't wish for any more. I am looking forward to a great holiday season because of those two precious angels!!!!

What a change from this time last year! We all feel like we can breath again. Can't wait for the Jan 2012 "birthday".
Don't ever feel like you slighted MissE in any way. You & WmP worked overtime keeping it all together. There is no way we (MeeMaw & PawPaw) can ever say how hugely proud we are of you guys.
Weston is a walking example that miracles do happen, & thanks should be given every day.
