Eggcelent

What a beautiful day for an Easter Egg Hunt!
We made a special trip to school on this Wednesday to join our friends for an egg hunt.

And she's off!

Pretty girl, pretty dress, pretty basket

Getting to "safety" to check out her loot!

Can you think of a better way to end an egg hunt?
"Weeeeeeeeee!"

Rodeo Girl

God must have heard our prayers.
Emily had a pretty good night...no fever, coughing but not really waking herself up. She woke up in pretty good spirits this morning, and what a beautiful day it was turning out to be. We were all suffering from a little cabin fever, so we decided to try to do one of our fun things we had planned for Spring Break.
The Austin Rodeo

While she wasn't feeling 100%, she still had fun seeing all the moo's and other animals.
We have noticed that she definitely likes them more from afar than up close. Mommy can't really disagree with her, as The Mommy was attacked by a rabid petting zoo goat and monster sheep for my tiny cup of oats. Ok, maybe he was more hungry than rabid, but still!

Emily loving on some deer and goats:

Of course we couldn't pass up the pony rides! The man hand picked a pony for E...turns out he picked the wrong one, because our pony was a little psycho with the head jerking and such. Luckily, The Daddy was there the whole time!

By far the most fun for E was the "rides". Rides being stationary farm and construction equipment. She had so much fun sitting up in the front-end loader and bobcat, she didn't want to get out.
My little Farmer.
She is too pretty and delicate for manual labor!

And BTW, Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Spring Break Is Supposed To Be Fun!

Oh, my poor little girl!
She has been under the weather for the last three days. Coincidentally, all of Spring Break thus far.
I am not a hundred percent sure what is going on, but she sure is miserable.
Nasty wet cough, runny but stuffy nose and the worst...fever.
I am sure it is a virus, I just hope it isn't flu. Flu season is supposed to be over!

We had such fun plans for Spring Break. We don't get to do a lot of fun outings because of The Mommy and Daddy's opposite work schedules. So, you can imagine how much we were looking forward to visiting the animals at the rodeo and going to the zoo in San Antonio.

But, our princess is sick. :( And to add insult to injury (at least to The Mommy's ego) all she wants is The Daddy. Aren't kiddos supposed to want their mommies when they are sick?! This mommy is feeling pretty useless these days...

I hope she will wake up tomorrow morning feeling like a million bucks and be back to herself...

Bob Wehadababyitsaboy!

We know for a fact now that Baby Golden II is all BOY!
We went for my 20 week sonogram and are happy to report that he is healthy and growing like a weed. He is 4 days ahead of schedule for length, but the due date remains July 27th.

Check out our little Stud Muffin!

No denying that is a boy!

Little baby face.

Foot

Emily is going to be a great big sister. We just hope that she gives this little boy a chance to toughen up a bit before she really lets loose on him!

What a glorious blessing to have to have two healthy children!
