God must have heard our prayers.
Emily had a pretty good night...no fever, coughing but not really waking herself up. She woke up in pretty good spirits this morning, and what a beautiful day it was turning out to be. We were all suffering from a little cabin fever, so we decided to try to do one of our fun things we had planned for Spring Break.
The Austin Rodeo
While she wasn't feeling 100%, she still had fun seeing all the moo's and other animals.
We have noticed that she definitely likes them more from afar than up close. Mommy can't really disagree with her, as The Mommy was attacked by a rabid petting zoo goat and monster sheep for my tiny cup of oats. Ok, maybe he was more hungry than rabid, but still!
Emily loving on some deer and goats:
Of course we couldn't pass up the pony rides! The man hand picked a pony for E...turns out he picked the wrong one, because our pony was a little psycho with the head jerking and such. Luckily, The Daddy was there the whole time!
By far the most fun for E was the "rides". Rides being stationary farm and construction equipment. She had so much fun sitting up in the front-end loader and bobcat, she didn't want to get out.
My little Farmer.
She is too pretty and delicate for manual labor!
And BTW, Happy St. Patrick's Day!
